Once again we have a new Song Wars Champion.  Little Big Town now occupies the throne with their latest song, “Little White Church.”  Little Big Town defeated Anthony Smith (“Love, Is Love, Is Love”) Wednesday night to become our newest Champ.  They’ll face a new Challenger Thursday night at 8 on WTCM Song Wars.

Thoughts of Spring & Song Wars

1 03 2010

Not a bad weekend, and the 1st day of March was a pretty mild one.  Looks like the rest of the week will be mild, too.  March is coming in like a lamb, so does that mean it will go out like a lion?…we’ll see in a couple of weeks.  Right now, however, I have a few symptoms of Spring Fever!

We have a new Song Wars Champ.  Monday’s Challenger, Anthony Smith (“Love, Is Love, Is Love”) defeated the Champion, Mallary Hope (“Blossom In The Dust”).  That makes Anthony Smith our new Song Wars Champ, and he’ll face a new Challenger Tuesday night at 8 on WTCM Song Wars.

Song Wars Champ Rolls On

25 02 2010

Our current Song Wars Champion, Mallary Hope (“Blossom In The Dust’) had a good night Thursday night, defeating our Challenger, Bekka Bramlett (“I Got News For You”).  That’s win #2 for the Champ and she will face a new Challenger Friday night on Song Wars

Song Wars 2/24

24 02 2010

Well, it took two nights, but we got a decision!  We had a tie Tuesday night between the Champion, Mallary Hope (“Blossom In The Dust”), and the Challenger, Fast Ryde (“Top Down”), so we brought both contestants back Wednesday night.  When the dust cleared, Mallary Hope came away with the victory.  She’ll face a new Challenger Thursday night at 8 on Song Wars.

Song Wars (and random thoughts!)

22 02 2010

Made it through another weekend and what a beautiful weekend it was.  Had to make a quick trip downstate Saturday…beautiful sunshine all the way…starting to get a little spring fever.  Baseball talk adds to that…Johnny Damon now a Tiger.  I think that will be a good move.  Can’t wait to hear the first “Play Ball” this spring.

We have another new Champion on Song Wars.  Monday’s Challenger, Mallery Hope (Blossom In The Dust”) defeated the Champ, Tyler Dickerson (“Tell Your Sister I’m Single”).  Mallary Hope will now face a new Challenger.  Tune in to Song Wars weeknights at 8 on WTCM.

Song Wars 2/16

16 02 2010

Song Wars 2/15

15 02 2010

Half-way through the month of February and we are finally on the verge of crowning our first Song Wars Undefeated Champion in 2010!  Our Champion, Scott Lindsey (“You Only Call Me [When You're Drunk]“), will be back for his 5th and final time Tuesday night to defend his Crown.  If he wins, he will retire as an undefeated Song Wars Champ.  Tune in Tuesday night at 8 to find out what happens.

Song Wars 2/11

11 02 2010

Two nights in a row, and we still have the same Champion!  That hasn’t happened very much lately.  Our Champion, Scott Lindsey (“You Only Call Me [When You're Drunk]“), defeated the Challenger, Jason Sturgeon (“Simple Life”).  Scott Lindsey will try for three-in-row when he faces a new Challenger Friday night on WTCM Song Wars.

Song Wars 2/10

10 02 2010

Had something unusual happen on Song Wars tonight…our Champion successfully defended his crown!  Scott Lindsey (“You Only Call Me [When You're Drunk]“) defeated out Challenger, Katie Armiger (“Kiss Me Now”).  Tune in at 8p Thursday night to see if our Champion can make it two nights in a row!
